Call for ProposalsThis Group seeks to bring together specialists in South Asia and Judaica to discuss topics within Hindu and Jewish traditions, with the intention of revisioning categories and developing alternative models to the Protestant-based paradigms that have tended to dominate the academic study of religion. Presenters need not have expertise in both Hindu and Jewish traditions. For the 2012 sessions, we invite papers on the following themes in Jewish and Hindu traditions:
Proposals on other topics are also welcome. We strongly encourage prearranged session proposals in the form of thematic paper sessions or panels.
