The Editor of the Journal of the American Academy of Religion, Amir Hussain, invites you to view free content on the JAAR website at http://jaar.oxfordjournals.org. The latest issue (79:1, March 2011) is now available online. Also available free is the 2009 Presidential Address by Mark Juergensmeyer, the reflections of Richard Martin on Islamic Studies in the Academy, and the final word by the outgoing editor, Chuck Mathewes of the University of Virginia. You are encouraged to not only read those pieces, but to send them out to non-AAR members for a taste of what is published in the JAAR. One of Amir’s goals as editor is to have the JAAR more widely read, both by AAR members as well as the larger academy.

If you are interested in being sent the table of contents when a new issue of JAAR appears or when new content appears online, click “E-mail Table of Contents.”
