Travel and Lodging

Ohio Northern University is located in the village of Ada, Ohio, located a short distance from interstate 75 in northwest Ohio. The nearest airports to Ada, Ohio, are Dayton International (DAY) and Toledo Express (TOL), both of which are around 75–85 miles from campus. Detroit Metro (DTW) is also an option, though it is further away. Since there is no shuttle or bus service between the airport and the ONU campus, renting a car is necessary to get to campus.

Once at the airport, follow the driving directions to campus located here.

Lodging is available at The Inn at Ohio Northern University. The special rate is $95, and $10 for each additional guest, which includes breakfast. Make reservations early because this rate is only available until mid-March. The Inn at Ohio Northern University is an outstanding luxury hotel on the campus of ONU. Free WiFi. All reservations must be made directly with The Inn. For reservations or more information, call 419-772-2500 or visit www.innatonu.com. Because many undergraduates participants do not have institutional funding to participate, conference organizers will attempt to match interested undergraduate students with students from the host institution for housing in dormitories. Space will be limited, however. Interested undergraduates should contact Forrest Clingerman at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it no later than March 15.

Leadership

We encourage you to get involved in the leadership of the Midwest region by attending the business meeting (held during lunch each year at our annual meeting), and nominating yourself or a colleague for an officer's or Section Chairs position.

If you are interested in serving as a Section Chair or proposing a new Section for the conference, please contact the regional President, Scott Paeth, DePaul University, This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it .

More Information on open positions and the nomination process is available here.

Please note that the system for electronic submission of paper proposals is now closed.
